Spring in Saalbach is the right season for every taste: while the carvers and boarders can use the slopes on well-groomed ski pistes until April, preparations are already on their way for the summer season. Hiking, biking or Nordic walking, surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Glemm Valley, is always an unforgettable experience.

Hiking & mountain biking

Hiking and mountain biking are not a sport for summer only! In spring there are also nice hiking and mountain biking tours on the sunny sides of the hillslopes. Surely, a special experience is always coming up from the spring like dale and encountering winter and snow at the mountain top!

Baumzipfelweg (tree top walk) and the Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

You can walk high in the trees on Europe’s highest tree top walk – located in the valley of Saalbach Hinterglemm. The tree top walk is open 365 days all year round.

Krimml water falls

The Krimml water fall is the highest one in whole Europe.
